An elderly IDP woman and her grandaughter who is suffering from diarrhea in an IDP camp at Goljano, Sool region.
Halima, 20 yo, mother of 3, describes her experience at a food distribution in Ainabo. They are considering moving to Ainabo IDP camp, but are reluctant to be exposed to illness. They explain that the food they have received will allow them to stay in their camp for another 20 days. Their hope is that rain will come, allowing them to settle there.

Runners tke a break after training near Iten, Kenya. At an altitude of 2500 meters (8202 feet), Iten, Kenya is home to approximately 2000 people, half of whom are athletes. The high altitude is favored for training by maranthon runners who, after acheiving impressive times at altitude, descend to competitions at sea level and are able run long distances with ease.
