I’ve spent ~35 years photographing and filming the stories of people around the world, from a broad cross section of economic, social and ethnic backgrounds- most of it in conflict and crisis environments. 

My work has been featured in VICE Magazine, The New York Times, Business Week, Al Jazeera, BBC, CNN, NBC, Global Post, Neue Züricher Zeitung, The Age, The National, Die Zeit, Der Spiegel, AP, EPA, Stern Online, TIME Magazine and a variety of other print and broadcast outlets.

I’m now settled on a bucolic mountaintop in southern Portugal, and am focused on editorial portraiture and brand image-film direction.
